A HUGE Love Island star who starred in the first series and dated a string of famous women afterwards has revealed he’s back working as a builder.
Despite his success in the world of reality TV following his time in the Love Island villa it’s clear he’s not afraid of getting his hands dirty.
Joshua Ritchie, who was among the first group of Islanders when the ITV show was rebooted in 2015, has updated his Instagram bio to say he’s working for construction company Royal North West.
But the 29-year-old is obviously still raking in a load of cash as his most recent post showed him boarding a private jet.
After coming third on Love Island alongside Lauren Richardson, but the pair were only friends.
He was in a relationship with Geordie Shore‘s Charlotte Crosby for two years before their bitter split in 2019.
Shortly after their break-up Charlotte took part in the Australian version of I’m a Celebrity where she opened up about it.
She said: “I recently split up with my boyfriend of two years and it has been a pretty bad break-up.
“I’d go to work every day, have late nights and travel around everywhere, and he would be sat playing on his PlayStation [at home].”
Before that he also had trysts with the likes of actress Stephanie Davis and former Towie star Danielle Armstrong.
Today The Sun revealed that Josh will be jetting to South Africa and entering the villa once again as one of the Love Island All Stars Bombshells.
A TV insider said: “Josh is in talks with producers about arriving as a bombshell – he’s a show legend and really charming so would really shake things up in the villa.
“The lads need to be watching over their shoulders if he goes into the show – Josh has been on loads of reality shows so knows how to play the game.”
The eventual winners of Josh’s series were Jessica Hayes and Max Morley but Josh finished a respectable joint third place with his partner Lauren Richardson.
