THE Maxine Barlow actress has a career worlds away from her stint on Waterloo Road.
In an ultimately shocking storyline, school-girl Maxine was best-friends with Janeece Bryant (Chelsee Healey) and Chlo Grainger (Katie Griffiths) – before heartbreakingly being axed from the plot.

Maxine was depicted by Ellie Paskell who (despite her heart-wrenching acting) has bowed out of the spotlight since.
She now has a very different career, worlds away from fame.
According to her website, Ellie describes herself as a: “Soul Coach” and a “pain and stress management teacher.”
The “expressive arts” teacher also offers a variety of spiritual services including group courses, global retreats and one to one coaching programs.
Ellie now documents her teachings on Instagram and alongside a moving clip of her dancing she gave a glimpse into her wisdom.
She wrote: “Movement is where I meet my truth in messy, spine tingling, unexpected ways ways. ‘Who IS this Ellie I’m being?!’ my inner Nice Girl asks when I’m moving to a beat.
“To which the deep, ineffable essence of me simply raises an eyebrow, twiddles her moustache and smiles.”
Prior to her demise, Maxine was also part of an equally jaw-dropping storyline, when Janeece and Karla Bentham (Jessica Baglow) found the remains of a deceased baby.
The remains were found during an archeological dig in season 3 and an investigation was quickly launched, resulting in each girl at Waterloo Road being interviewed.
Maxine later confessed to Janeece that the baby was sadly hers.
The character had unfortunately had a stillborn child, who she named Charlotte, which she shared with Lewis Seddon (Craig Fitzpatrick).
The characters shock exit followed in series 4, after starring on the show since series 2, where she was devastatingly murdered by her ex-boyfriend Earl Kelly (Reece Noi).
