WE’VE spotted a superb Android deal that’s perfect for anyone seeking an affordable smartphone.
Three is providing the Google Pixel 8, Google’s flagship mobile, with 300GB of data for just £29 per month.
Typically this pay-monthly plan would set you back a whopping £129 upfront, but Buymobiles has slashed that to nothing.
This, of course, is Google’s flagship smartphone, which has only been on the market for a few months, so we’re pleased to see Three bringing in the punters with this deal.
For only £34 per month, you get a generous 300GB of data — more than sufficient for the average user to last you through each month.
The Pixel 8 is positioned as a direct rival to Apple’s flagship, and may well sway those on the fence to the Android world – and we can see why.
On the face of it, there’s the 6.2-inch AMOLED screen, complemented by the cutting-edge Tensor G3 chip under the hood – the most powerful processor to date.
Whether you’re a Google user or not, the Pixel smartphones ‘Magic Eraser’ function has gained quite a reputation.
The Pixel 8 goes a step further by introducing the ‘Audio Magic Eraser,’ which uses AI to eliminate unwanted ambient sounds from your videos.
We’re impressed with the deal from Buymobiles, but if you’re more inclined to grab the SIM-free Pixel 8, it’s currently on sale on Amazon for just £709, saving you a decent £50.
Amazon users are highly impressed with the Google Pixel 8, with one user dubbing it ‘simply the best.’
They added: “I have had all sorts of mobile phones for over 20 years but this Google Pixel 8 is by far the best. I unhesitaingly recommend it”.
Another user, converted to Android, admitted: “I’ve never had a Pixel and so far I’m thrilled, fast, great camera, and excellent battery.”
If you’re committed to using an Android device but want a more budget-friendly option, Buymobiles is currently providing the Google Pixel 7 with 100GB of data for only £27 per month and £0 upfront.
Or if your budget allows for a bit more flexibility, consider the Samsung Galaxy S23 with 300GB for £35 per month, which has seen its upfront cost dropped from £19 to £0.
If this has thrown you a curveball, fret not. I’ve looked at both in my Google Pixel 8 vs Pixel 7 comparison to help you choose the right one from the Pixel lineup.
And for those weighing up the Samsung and Pixel device, I have also compared the Samsung Galaxy S23 vs Google Pixel 8 to make the decision easier.
We’ve also got the latest on the Samsung Galaxy S24 pre-orders, the newest Android flagship that has just hit the market, released just this week.
