Titled ‘dance week’, the couples were each showcasing a different style of dance in their routines.

Up first was BBC Radio 1 star Adele Roberts who has continually impressed the panel with her moves and has found herself comfortably near the top of the leaderboard since the start.

Performing a Charleston, she received rapturous applause but fans were quickly left dismayed at the repeated “over-scoring” of contestants.

Adele received a slew of 7.5’s across the board but many ITV viewers felt this was too high especially after they noticed a series of “stumbles”.

Hitting out at the panel, one fan said: “Adele was good but she did stumble coming out of one of the lifts, she didn’t have the [Charleston] characterisation for me and she was slightly out of time with Mark in the side section.

“She didn’t skate much alone but she’s over-marked every week imo.”

Another then added: “I love Adele as a person but she has been over marked this week. She was flailing all around the ice there and very shakey indeed.”

Before a third went on to write: “I’m sure the judges just over-mark and under-mark now to p*** us off.”

Similar criticism came for Made in Chelsea star Miles Nazaire and West End star Amber Davies as they achieved incredibly high marks.

Dancing On Ice stars reveal their week four routines

Ahead of tonight’s show, The Sun revealed how Ricky Norwood had been involved in an argument with his pro partner, Annette.

The pair’s fallout came after Ricky became annoyed at Annette’s treatment of him when he was struggling with his posture.

A source told The Sun: “He felt that Annette was treating him like a kid and was clearly frustrated at her lack of patience.

“Ricky stormed off the ice and threw his skates off in a rage while shouting ‘I’m done’ and ‘f**k this’.

“Annette is a perfectionist and wants to shine on the show, given that it is her first series.”

Dancing On Ice continues Sundays on ITV.
