A FITNESS enthusiast has hit back at trolls who mock her for wearing shiny jewellery and teeny outfits to the gym.

Whether that’s pair of shorts or a baggy T-shirt, you should wear whatever makes you feel your best and most comfortable when working out – and someone who knows a little about this is gym babe Liv Carbonero.

The fitness lover, from the sunny Miami, the USA, recently revealed that for her, gym is essentially ”a fashion show” – and her outfits are most certainly always on point.

Hitting back at the meanies, the blonde stunner took to Instagram to proudly show off some of her very best looks, and some have even branded her ”the Elle Woods” of gyms.

One such adorable outfit included a hot pink set she had paired with the on-trend Nike Dunks with a bedazzled logo on the side, and even her weightlifting belt was glittery pink.

If you were to go through her wardrobe, it seems you’ll find plenty of glitter and sparkle, as Liv also owns a stunning black sports bra with a plunging neckline that’s covered in glitter.

However, on days when she’s not wearing neutral colours, the fit gym enthusiast will go all out in bright colours, such as an adorable neon pink and blue two-piece set.

This outfit, she shared in the video, was even completed with a matching scrunchie in her hair and pink trainers to go with the aesthetic.

Another firm favourite outfit is a figure-hugging set with iridescent purple leggings and sports bra with a daring neckline – one, just the like the rest of her looks, was complete with jewellery.

Explaining why she always ensures to look put-together even when working out, the fitness super fan said the answer was simple.

”Cute fits make you stronger,” Liv hit back at the meanies.

But whilst Liv may claim that the ”cute” outfits help with her gym performance, the workout garments left social media users totally divided, as trolls raced to urge her to ”dress modestly”.

I was told to cover up or LEAVE the gym – my gear was ‘distracting’

One said: ”The gym isn’t a fashion show, I want 1980 back.”

A bloke chimed in: ”I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes.”

Someone else, meanwhile, reckoned getting all dolled up was also too much, in their eyes.

”I’m all for the cute fits but wearing make-up and sweating doesn’t sound like fun for my skin.”

Luckily for the young blonde, the response was mainly positive, as hundreds raced to support Liv – and even fellow gym lovers chimed in with their experience.

One, for instance, said: ”I remember actually reading a study about this years ago.

”If you think you look good at the gym, you workout better, make more progress and show up more.”

Another chuckled: ”Cute outfits help me lift heavier.

”It’s the same as when we were kids and the light up shoes helped us run faster!”

”The Elle Woods approach to the gym,” a third fan compared the fitness fan to the iconic character.

Someone else also shared a tip to kickstart your fitness journey this year.

”Agree! Need some gym motivation? Buy new gym fit!”
