Howard Stern mercilessly mocked Trevor Noah for being ‘too positive’ while hosting the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

Despite receiving rave reviews for successfully helming the three-hour ceremony for the fourth consecutive year, the comedian, 39, couldn’t escape a critical review from the outspoken radio personality, 70, during Tuesday’s episode of The Howard Stern Show

‘He did the opposite of a roast. He was like a cheerleader,’ Stern said disapprovingly. ‘He didn’t say one negative thing about anybody.’

His co-host Robin Quivers suggested that his decision to play it safe and not ruffle any feathers comes after stand-up comedian, Jo Koy, bombed during his disastrous stint hosting the Golden Globes, last month.

Stern proceeded to show a clip of Noah hosting, before doing his own impression of the late-night talk show.

’21 Savage is so great. You know how great he is? He always pays his taxes on time,’ he mused. ‘And you know what else? Doja Cat flosses every single day. That’s why she has such great breath!’

The father-of-three, then quipped: ‘No one is safe, no one is off limits from my admiration tonight.’

Stern speculated it was cleat that Noah ‘did what he had to do’ not to step on any toes or offend anyone.

‘I felt so bad for the guy,’ Stern explained. ‘Trevor Noah is a comedian … [and] I think he did what he had to do.’

‘I mean, look at that guy Jo Koy,’ he told listeners. ‘He went up there, he tried to make a few jokes and they almost f**king killed the guy.’

Stern was referring to Koy’s dreadful monologue Golden Globes, which turned  catastrophic after Greta Gerwig’s Barbie as a film ‘based on a doll with big boobies.’

Koy was labeled ‘the worst host ever’ on social media and criticized for his mean-spirited and crude jokes.

In addition to receiving a death stare from Taylor Swift after making a crack about  her relationship with Travis Kelce, Selena Gomez was spotted placing her head in her hands in disbelief as he joked that ‘the ‘key moment’ in the Barbie movie was when Barbie experienced ‘bad breath, cellulite, and flat feet, or what casting directors call character actor.’

The  monologue led to an outpouring of criticism on social media with some calling him ‘sexist’ and ‘not funny.’

On X user wrote: ‘I feel like nobody was in charge of the golden globes and Jo Koy just walked in and said “I’m hosting” and nobody bothered to check if that was right.’

‘Jo Koy’s monologue is absolutely awful. I think most of the audience is just pity laughing and his bad jokes about Barbie, show he didn’t understand Barbie.’

Yet another person made reference to another panned monologue, this one from British comedian Ricky Gervais in 2020.

‘This has to be the worst opening monologue (from Jo Koy) in #GoldenGlobes history… is he trying to be Ricky Gervais?,’ wrote the user on X.

One poster noted all the people who declined hosting before Koy was selected in his criticism, saying: ‘ It would have been funny if Jo Koy ’s entire monologue was just him reading all 378 names of people who said no to hosting the show before they called him.’
