When he heard he went viral for thigh-baring looks, he said: ‘Hell yeah!’

He spoke about his unique style in a the interview and said he didn’t feel the need to justify his eccentric style.

‘I don’t think there is anything to defend,’ he told E! News in November 2023. ‘It’s called short shorts, isn’t it? It’s supposed to be short.’

He continued: ‘Corduroy short shorts. I mean, it’s a vibe. It’s the best vibe. It’s like a Tom Selleck vibe. It’s like a ’70’s surfer vibe. I prefer that.’

Adding: ‘It’s like showtime. Lakers – would you rather see them with the short shorts and Magic Johnson looking like a basketball player and athlete, rather than wearing some sort of capri on the floor? No. So, I’ll be wearing the short shorts.’

When asked how long he plans on rocking the short shorts look, the Don’t Worry Darling star cheekily said: ‘Until the legs go. Look up Tom Selleck, E! fans.’
