USWeekly reported the star was performing at City Winery on Thursday, November 2, when he saw a staff member use their phone.
Davidson then interrupted his set to shout at the employee filming: ‘F**k you’ according to an eyewitness.
He then instructed his security guard to escort the person away and claimed he ‘pays $10,000 to lock up [your phones].’
Pete – who is currently dating Madelyn Cline – then carried on with the performance and the incident wasn’t brought up again during the show.

Pete is among numerous comedians who enjoy doing stand-up without the distraction of phones in the crowds.
Ticket holders must lock their devices in Yondr pouches for the duration of the show, ensuring a phone-free environment for the comedian to perform in.
The many topics Pete touched on during his set included his addiction troubles to jokes about attempting to get ‘good press’ following his car accident earlier this year.
Davidson performed twice that evening; a second show was added after the first sold out.
Pete is currently dating Madelyn Cline.
The pair’s blossoming romance first emerged last month – but despite enjoying their time together, they reportedly don’t see their romance as ‘serious’.
The comedian was spotted jetting out of Phoenix, Arizona with Madelyn days after they enjoyed a whirlwind 24-hours in Vegas last weekend.
Now, an insider has exclusively told DailyMail.com that while Madelyn, 25, is having ‘fun’ with the 29-year-old comedian, she doesn’t believe the relationship will be more than ‘a good time’.

‘Madelyn anticipates her current relationship with Pete as just a good time and it will not be her last one,’ the source said.
‘She thinks he is hilarious, and fun and she is all about hanging out with him, but she is 25, and she doesn’t want anything serious, she wants to chase fun, and she thinks Pete thinks the same and their relationship is all about having a good time.
‘It is in no way serious, she is taking it day by day and that is all that works for her right now, Pete shouldn’t expect her to be his soulmate, she is not giving off those vibes.’
Last month Us Weekly reported that the couple had ‘spent the night’ together at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The insider expressed said: ‘Pete and Madelyn are dating. They spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning.
‘They were really low-key and kept things casual, wearing baseball hats.’
On Saturday, the couple reportedly traveled to Sin City together and stayed at the Resorts World Las Vegas for Pete’s show.
The new couple are said to have recharged in the luxurious Crockfords Entertainment Suite and spent time at the resort’s Allē Lounge on 66 that features wide views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The comedian had dated Chase from December 2022 until news of their break up came to light in August – just two months after he entered rehab amid his ongoing battle with Borderline Personality Disorder and PTSD.
At the time of their split, a separate source told Us Weekly: ‘There’s no bad blood or any hard feelings between them.
‘Their relationship had simply run its course and they decided they just wanted different things.’
