Host Kyle Sandilands was squeamish at the thought of the gruesome injury before asking if there was lot’s of ‘blood’ from the accident.

‘Blood everywhere?’ he queried. ‘I’m crippled just listening to that.’

Last year it emerged that Pink was having marriage counselling with her husband.

Pink made the honest declaration to her fans as she kicked off the UK leg of her Summer Carnival World Tour in Bolton last year.

The singer told the packed University of Bolton Stadium she and her husband, who she has been married to for 17 years, had been having marriage counselling as she got candid about her relationship.

She told fans: ‘This is what they teach in marriage counselling: Remorse, regret, resolution.’

Grinning, she added: ‘I’ll start that tomorrow.’

Although they’ve been in a relationship for two decades, Pink and Carey have had their share of bumps along the road.

The two first met at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia and began dating shortly afterward, but they had a short split in 2003.

The couple reconciled later that year, and in 2005 the Get The Party Started singer held a sign aloft asking for his hand in marriage while he competed in a motocross race in Mammoth Lakes, California.

They had a tropical wedding in Costa Rica in 2006 but separated in 2008.

The split was referenced on multiple tracks from her album Funhouse, released the same year, but the couple stayed amicable and attended marriage counselling in hopes of resuscitating the relationship.

‘Marriage is awful, wonderful, comfort and rage,’ she captioned a photo of her hugging Carey. ‘It is boring, terrifying, and a total nail biter. It is loving another fallible creature while trying to love yourself. It is a lifetime of coming back to the table,’ she began.

‘Therapy isn’t for weak people or hippies or liberals. It’s for broken people that want to be whole. It’s for runaways that want a family. It’s a lesson on how to sit down and listen. How to love yourself so that the other person can, too. I love you babe. I’m grateful we made it to this photo,’ she concluded.

They reconciled in 2010, and the couple have seemingly been going strong ever since.

In 2011, they welcomed their daughter Willow, and their son Jameson followed in 2016.

Pink and her family have been enjoying their time in Sydney and recently explored the sights at Bondi Beach, with the So What singer sharing sweet snaps of their antics to Instagram.

She posted an array of pictures of herself posing on the beach with her two children alongside the caption: ‘Bondi Beach it’s been too long!!!!!!!’ she wrote on Monday. ‘Bills was delicious, too. Soooooooo happy to be back on this side of the world!

‘Thank you, beautiful Australia, for being our home away from home. Kids are stoked.’

Pink is preparing for a busy few weeks as her tour will hit stadiums in seven cities across Australia.

The tour will kick off at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Friday night and she will travel around the country for a string of shows before ending in Queensland on March 23.

Pink was born and raised in the United States, but she has become an ‘honorary Aussie’ after breaking records for concert and album sales Down Under.

According to a report in New Idea last year, Pink is hoping to start a ‘new chapter’ in Australia with her family and is considering setting up a ‘base’ Down Under.

She has long considered Australia a second home with her letting slip that she was ‘looking into’ possible citizenship in February 2023.

‘Australia will be such a special time. Setting up their much longed for dream base Down Under where they can escape the wintry months will be just what the doctor ordered,’ an insider said.

‘Last year I was thinking about applying for citizenship, I am not even joking,’ she shared on 60 Minutes.

Pink added she told her husband Carey that they should move, and that she ‘can’t wait’ to tour Australia again.

‘I was like, if we are going somewhere, Carey, that’s where we are going. So I was kind of looking into it,’ she added.
