Married At First Sight 2024: Collins Christian clashes with relationship expert John Aiken at commitment ceremony in one of the most heated fights in the show’s history
Married At First Sight groom Collins Christian clashed with relationship expert John Aiken during Sunday night’s commitment ceremony.
The 28-year-old was questioned by John about his feelings towards his wife Natalie Parham when things got heated.
Natalie was explaining how she wanted to leave the experiment after Collins showed her no affection at the dinner party.
‘My dad passed away two months ago and my anxiety and grief was starting to over take and I never thought at a dinner party, I would feel alone,’ she said.
‘I had to ask him to hold my hand to walk into the dinner party even though I was shaking.’

Collins then admitted he could show Natalie more affection before adding: ‘It’s been prevalent that Nat’s grief has been a huge part of this experiment.’
‘Grief aside, to the best of her ability she has been present,’ John said.
Collins interrupted: ‘You just said grief aside… I’m sorry but if I’m being honest I don’t agree with you. You can’t just put grief aside, it’s a huge factor.’
‘I’m not saying that the grief is not playing into this,’ John said before Collins tried to interrupt him again.
‘I haven’t finished talking… I’m saying she’s here as a complete package and wants a connection and you said you can’t think of anything you’ve doing to bring her close. That’s a problem. What do you think you should do to make her feel close?’ John continued.
‘No sorry, I came to you for advice… you tell me,’ a frustrated Collins said.

An unimpressed John continued: ‘You have never been in a relationship before but you’re talking to me as if you’re an expert and what I’m saying is you need to open your mindset and you need to start listening.’
‘You challenging me is deflecting from the issue at hand here… I want you to take ownership and be the agent of change here.’
Natalie then broke down as she admitted she doesn’t trust Collins before eventually revealing her decision to leave.
However Collins voted to stay, forcing the pair to remain in the experiment.
