Lisa Wilkinson may have been absent from television screens for a year.

But the former Project host is hardly doing it tough, as she boasts a property portfolio worthy worth more than most people earn in a lifetime.

The TV host, 64, and her journalist husband Peter FitzSimons, 62, have amassed an impressive profile of luxury homes over the years, with an expert valuing their current portfolio as being worth up to $70million.

The couple and their three children live in a sprawling six-bedroom estate worth up to $40million in Sydney’s well-to-do Cremorne.

They reported paid just $1.4million for the home and have undergone extensive renovations including adding a huge master bedroom wing overlooking Sydney Harbour.

Lisa and Peter also own a second property next door, which is estimated to be worth another $20million.

Speaking to Woman’s Day magazine on Monday, a leading real estate agent claimed Lisa and Peter could pocket up to $70million if they sold both homes as one large piece of land.

‘They could put whatever price they want on their property,’ the expert began.

‘The land size for just their own home is enormous – just over 3000sqm – and boasts a gorgeous 1903 home with never-to-be-built-out gun-barrel views of Sydney Harbour and the city and well beyond,’ they added.

Meanwhile, Lisa and Peter have been renting out the home next door for a whopping $2500 a week.

According to the publication, Lisa plans to eventually transform that property into an ‘office’ for her author husband.

Wilkinson also owns a 1970s single bedroom unit in Cremorne that overlooks Sydney Harbour with views of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

The home once belonged to her late mother, Beryl who reportedly bought it for $388,000 in 1996.

After her mother’s death in 2018, Lisa’s brothers Kyle and Brett sold her their share of the property to her for $275,000 each.

Lisa is now renting it out for $770-a-week with a bond of $3,080, reports Realestate.com.au.
