It seems the whole of Australia is getting into the Taylor Swift spirit ahead of her much-anticipated Eras tour Down Under.

And now a Melbourne hotel has launched a special drinks menu inspired by the popstar so guests can ‘party like it is 1989’.

For this week only, the Ovolo Hotel South Yarra is serving up six different tasty cocktails and mocktails.

First on the signature list is the ‘French Blondie (Taylor Swift’s version)’ a mix of London Dry Gin, Lillet Blanc, St Germain and grapefruit juice, finished off with grapefruit peel.

Meanwhile ‘Champagne Problems’ features a thirst-quenching concoction of French Champagne, Elderflower liquor, soda water and a dash gold edible glitter.

For something more fruity, guests can sip on a ‘Swift-Jito’ containing white rum, lime, sugar syrup, watermelon and mint leaves.

And to ‘Shake It Off’ with something non-alcoholic, there is a berry-licious tipple named after Taylor’s hit song, with NON 3, raspberry cordial, lime juice, sugar syrup, Fever Tree elderflower tonic and thyme spring, lemon zest and raspberries.

Two other mocktails, ‘Cruel Summer’ and ‘Lavender Haze’, also feature on the list.

All drinks are available at Lona Misa South Yarra, Backroom South Yarra and Amphlett House CBD from 12-17 February.

Meanwhile rooms at the hotel cost upwards of $205 per night, where guests can choose to lay their head in the ‘Go Go Snug’, ‘Boogie’ and ‘Groovy’ rooms, and for a bit more space ‘Rock Star’ are suites available.

The Ovolo Group was founded by entrepreneur Girish Jhunjhnuwala, and Ovolo Hotels have quickly become one of Hong Kong and Australia’s most popular hotel chains.

Taking interior cues from the days of disco, rock gods and retro glamour, the vibe of Ovolo South Yarra is bold, creative and unapologetically retro.
