A SELF-STYLED “Prada Mama” has received backlash for “making her kids freeze for fashion” after sharing pictures of them kitted out in designer gear in the snow.
Gabby Waheed has a 10-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter, both of whom have wardrobes worth tens of thousands of pounds.
The 36-year-old, who is married to retired American football player Emmanuel Sanders, regularly shares snaps of her kids in Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Christian Dior and the like.
She has coined the phrase “Diorable” when describing her brood and refers to her daughter, named Zoie, as her “mini me”.
But recent pictures of the family kitted head-to-toe in Dior have sparked criticism on Instagram.
Posing in front of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, little Zoie is standing in the snow in a skirt and jumper with a coat hanging off her shoulders.
Gabby’s son, named Princeton, is wearing Dior canvas shoes and a matching tracksuit.
“No one is talking about her making her kids freeze for fashion?” one critic penned.
“Those babies must be freezing,” a second said.
Under another post, Gabby’s critics accused her of “living for Instagram”.
“All she does is live for Instagram,” one said.
“Is everything about designers?
“Let kids be kids.
“They do not look happy.”
Gabby does not respond to the criticism on social media, instead favouring posts where she refers to herself as “a lady of class” with “good jeans and a better heart”.
Her son Princeton even has his own Instagram profile, where pictures of him sitting in private jets and supercars are a regular feature.
Gabby and Emmanual got married in 2013 but made headlines in 2016 after she filed for divorce in Texas while pregnant with Zoie.
Despite the blip, the couple now seem to be going strong with Emmanual occasionally featuring in Gabby’s posts to match with her and the children.
