A SINGLE mum has revealed that she is giving her council house a glow up using freebies from a homeless charity.
Minnie Harris has documented her council house glow up via a series of videos posted to her TikTok channel.
The 20 year old has two children under two, and moved into her property two months ago.
She moved into the property just weeks before her son was due to be born, so has so far only had chance to make a start on decorating the kitchen.
Minnie, who lives in Norfolk, has painted the bland white walls a vibrant green colour, and has hung lots of pictures and shelves from B&M on the walls.
“Normally this is the sort of stuff I would ask for help with, but I wanted to teach myself how to do it myself”, she said.

In the centre of the dining room is a stylish white table and chairs set, which Minnie said she was got given for free by a homeless charity.
Minnie’s video, which was posted under the username @minnieharrisuk, has likely left many people impressed, as it has racked up over 500,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on the council house renovation.
One user said: “Yes, you don’t need a DIY man, you are a DIY man”.
Another user added: “You’ve done a great job so far, especially with two babies”.
