Welcome to Wales vs Italy

The final weekend of fixtures starts at the Principality Stadium as Wales and Italy look to decide who will get the unenviable honour of being awarded the wooden spoon.

George North has been recalled to the Welsh starting lineup, for what will be his final match for Wales as he announced that he will be retiring from international rugby at the age of 31.

Nick Tompkins is also recalled and will make up the midfield pairing with North.

The other two changes to the side that faced France will see Dillon Lewis selected at tighthead and Elliot Dee will play at hooker. Dafydd Jenkins assumes the blindside position, enabling Alex Mann to reclaim the number six spot.

For Italy, the bad news is that star full-back Ange Capuozzo will be sidelined due to injury.

As a result, Lorenzo Pani will step in as full-back while Monty Ioane will occupy the left-wing and Louis Lynagh mains his spot on the right wing after making a scoring debut last week.

Tommaso Menoncello and Juan Ignacio Brex will continue their partnership in the centre positions, while scrum half Stephen Varney rejoins the starting line-up at the expense of Martin Page-Relo.
