TOTTENHAM have offered Tanguy Ndombele to Galatasaray for just £4.3million.

The £63m flop has started just three matches in 2024 as he struggles to justify his huge price tag.

Last year reports in Turkey claimed Ndombele clashed with Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk, who wanted the Frenchman to lose weight.

And the ex-Lyon star has struggled to impress following a series of fitness struggles, crushing Tottenham’s hopes of recouping the money they spent on him in 2019.

Ndombele was loaned to Galatasaray for the season with the Turkish side having the option to buy the midfielder permanently for £11m.

But Buruk’s side rejected to pay that amount for the 27-year-old who has only played 650 minutes of football this season.

According to Turkish newspaper Takvim, Spurs “have offered Tanguy Ndombele to Galatasaray for €5M after they decided against activating their €15M option to sign the midfielder permanently”.

And it does not look promising as the claim also stated Galatasary are likely to turn this one down as well.

The report added: “Galatasaray are yet to respond, but are expected to reject the new proposal.”

Spurs fans are in disbelief about the amount of money their club has flushed away on the France international.

As one fan tweeted: “Club record signing for €62M only to sell him for €5M in a span of 5 years…”.

They then followed the comment with a clip of Breaking Bad character Hank Schrader staring at a piece of paper in shock.

Where are they now: The unusual careers of former footballers

Since arriving in North London nearly five years ago Ndombele has made 91 appearances for the Lilywhites and scored 10 goals.

But after suffering an injury and a result poor fitness in the middle of the 2021-22 season he was sent on loan back to his former side Lyon for the remainder of the campaign.

Lyon choosing not to buy their former player back meant Ndombele was sent on another loan spell to Napoli who again chose not to buy the midfielder.

Ndombele only has 12 months left on his Tottenham contract when he returns to north London this summer meaning Spurs are at risk of losing him on a free transfer if they cannot find a buyer.
