Dr. Aamna Adel (@aamnaadel) discussed her technique in a viral video on TikTok.

“Dermatologist secret for baby-soft feet,” she said.

The dermatologist’s tip works fast, with intense results while you sleep.

She used just a few common products to keep feet softer than ever — just in time for open-toe shoe season.

HOW IT’S DONE

The first step entails simply soaking one’s feet in warm water for just about 30 minutes.

She follows up with a moisturizer, but the ingredients matter.

“Apply a moisturizer which contains lactic acid, salicylic acid, or urea,” she said.

She recommended those ingredients for their ability to break down dead skin cells.

The exfoliative properties of lactic acid, salicylic acid, and urea facilitate skin regeneration — exactly what will achieve that “baby-soft” feel.

She follows up moisturizing by applying a “thick layer” of Vaseline over the feet.

Dr. Adel completes the nighttime ritual with a pair of cotton socks to lock in the products.

She said results will become visible within a few weeks.

“I have been doing this for years, just Vaseline and some socks on,” another added.

“It leaves feet baby soft.”

“I do this with the Vaseline and socks and even just the next morning is a huge difference,” said a third.

“My cousin once told me to put on Vaseline and gloves to bed for my dry cracked hands,” yet another wrote. “She could be a hand model.”

“Do I cover my legs in plastic bag before wearing the cotton socks?” one more said. “I feel like the cotton will absorb all the products.”

“You can wrap your feet in clingfilm and put socks on top,” said one more.
