Lovely day

Those starting XI’s should arrive any moment now. But before that, here’s some nice pictures. You’re welcome.

What’s at stake?

For Brighton? Not much. The best finish they can achieve is eighth.

That’s still pretty decent going considering the number of injuries and having to balance some crucial absentees with European football.

For Chelsea? Quite a bit, as it turns out.

The Blues are enjoying a resurgent end to a difficult campaign and could potentially achieve Europa League qualification.

Hello folks and welcome to our LIVE coverage of Brighton vs Chelsea from the Amex Stadium.

Perhaps six weeks ago I wouldn’t have thought twice about this contest. Both sides looked certain to finish between 11th and 8th with no chance of European qualification.

In fact, just nine games ago Chelsea were 10th.

But what a difference a month can make. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are BANG in contention for Europe next season after three successive victories… and a little help from a Manchester United in freefall.

Team news should drop shortly. Standby.
