Major train station struck by rush-hour chaos with 'over 75 trains cancelled'


COMMUTERS are fuming after saying they’ve hit rush hour chaos at London’s Waterloo station.

Dozens have gone online to complain about major delays from the massive station.

A reporter on the ground said an announcement went across the station around 5.40pm saying a massive 75 trains had been canned.

The station was completely packed with people staring at the screens, patient waiting to see how they could get home.

South Western Railway said around 5.15pm: “Due to large scale disruption across the South Western Railway network customers are authorised to source their own taxi and claim them back through the customer services team between London Waterloo and Basingstoke.”

It said there had been an “incident” at Raynes Park.

The service said at 5.30pm: “Train services are now able to run however, please be aware that due to crew and train displacement following the line closure, whilst we return the service to normal, train services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

“You are advised to check your journey before you travel.”
