Xbox is shutting down a huge online storefront – but it could save you money

However, there is a silver lining for fans, as between now and the store’s closure Xbox is heavily discounting a huge number of games from the store.

The Xbox 360 store will shut down on July 29, 2024, and after that time you will no longer be able to purchase games.

You will be able to download any games purchased before this date after the deadline, and this will be the case for the foreseeable future.

Both Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider are available in the sale for 75% and 80% off, respectively.

Some of these games are playable on Xbox Series X|S but need to be purchased via the Xbox 360 store to be eligible for the discount.
