Littler on busy schedule

Luke Littler admits the demands of the Premier League has taken its toll on him as he now looks to find a better balance to avoid burnout.

The Nuke said: “It’s just what you have to do. Now that the Premier League is over, thank God it’s over.”

The travelling on Friday at like three or four in the morning, and then people expecting you to play your best darts on Friday night, it was just difficult.

“Now the Premier League is over we can sort of balance it out and see what we play in.”

Luke Littler will hit the bullseye as an after-dinner speaker earning up to £10,000 per talk.

The 17-year-old superstar has been signed up by the agency Champions to tell sports clubs and businesses of his meteoric rise to the top of the sport.

The firm already has stars including former England footie managers Kevin Keegan and Glenn Hoddle on its books and has high hopes for its new recruit.

Champions says: “Luke is making his mark in the world of darts, and solidifying his name in the history books of the sport.

“Having impressed the world with his talents at just 16 years of age, don’t miss your opportunity to hire Luke Littler to speak about his darts career today!”

Darts fans were left in disbelief after they witnessed Martin Adams throw the “greatest dart in history”.

While playing in the MODUS Super Series in Portsmouth, Adams was up against Chris Gilliland.

With the best of seven leg match poised at 3-2 in Gilliland’s favour on his serve, Adams needed a big set of opening throws to tie up the score.

Wolfie proceeded to land a 20 and then a treble 20.

However, the 68-year-old’s third throw at the oche certainly did not go to plan.

Adams’ final dart slipped as he went to let fly and arced up and down before hitting the floor near the board.

Why isn’t Littler playing at the Nordic Darts Masters?

Luke Littler will NOT feature at the Nordic Darts Masters this weekend due to family commitments, the Professional Darts Corporation confirmed.

Dimitri Van den Bergh will replace the Premier League king in Copenhagen.

The UK Open champion will compete alongside Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting.

There will be a £60,000 overall prize pot, with the winner going home £20,000 richer.
