A HOMEOWNER has completely transformed their outdoor space.
When they first moved in, there wasn’t much to see, but now their lawn is looking lush.
Redditor Small-repeat-614 shared pictures of the backyard improvement in a post on the social media platform.
“My wife and I purchased our four-acre dream property last fall and what a journey it’s been so far,” they said.
A failed drainfield made the home a hard sell, but the sellers agreed to pay for a new one.
“The contractor warned me that they would have to tear through the woods,” they said.
“I told him to go crazy, and they sure did.”
After the contractor completed the tree removal, the homeowner was left with a mess.
“I am grateful for what they cleared, but it ultimately left me an overwhelming mess of downed trees.”
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
After being left with the clutter of downed trees and no grass, the homeowner went to work.
“Thankfully, we had a very mild Wisconsin winter so I was able to start clean up early,” they said.
They took down even more trees and purchased a wood chipper to produce thousands of chips, but their work doesn’t end there.
They expressed their excitement to improve their lawn even further.
“I’ve got years and years of various landscaping projects planned,” they added.
The homeowner got to work with planting as well as creating trails in the yard.
“The white clover I planted is thriving,” they said.
“The wood chipped trails are looking good, [the] garden is growing, and my doggie sidekick is loving her home,” they said.
“Life is good.”
LAWN LOVERS UNITE
The homeowner clearly put in work, attaching photos from before and after the transformation.
The lawn went from bare to completely lush and green over the course of six months.
One Redditor gave their thoughts on the change in the comments section.
“Your property is stunning, even your lovely dog seems happy to have it,” they said.
