FANS are racing down to their local store after one savvy bargain hunter grabbed a “great haul” for just £13.
Morrisons shoppers were eager to fill their trolleys after seeing one customer’s “amazing” goods.
The incredible food shop including steaks, sausages, plaice, and ribs, should have cost an eye-watering £57 – but was bagged for a staggering £44 less.
Sharing her find on Facebook, the money-saver penned: “Woopsie Wednesday £13.20 should of been £57.”
And, she revealed the deals had been nabbed in the yellow sticker section of a Morrisons in Bradford between 5pm and 6pm.
At the end of each day, most supermarkets will reduce the price of some items which are about to go out of date, by placing a yellow sticker on them.
Fans were quick to hail the haul on social media.
One impressed user wrote in the Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls Facebook group: “Amazing well done.”
“Well done. Nice haul. Mmmmm steak,” penned another.
“Great haul enjoy,” added a third.
Someone else joked: “I want to go yellow sticker shopping at her trolley.”
“Nice one,” praised another shopper in awe.
It comes after other Brits have been dubbed “greedy” for raiding the yellow sticker section.
One shopper, who was keen to take advantage of the discounts at her local Sainsbury’s, nabbed a huge haul of reduced products, during a recent shopping trip.
She was able to pick up a wide range of items, from Taste the Difference salmon for just £2,24, to a whole chicken for under £3.
But, one person said: “Greedy do you really need all that food?
“How much is going to be wasted?
“That could have gone to someone else who needed it”.
Another person complained: “If I do get the opportunity to get yellow sticker items it doesn’t happen very often because theirs people that take the lot.”
Elsewhere, fans were left divided after a mum picked up a huge haul of yellow sticker bargains in Morrisons.
Whilst some bargain hunters slammed her as “selfish”, others admitted they’re jealous because they would have cleared the shelf.
Meanwhile, Tesco started putting up security barricades to protect staff from desperate shoppers when they put reduced stickers on food.
Customers had been snatching the bargains from workers’ hands as soon as yellow stickers go on.
Staff at one branch in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, told managers they did not feel safe.
Now barriers are being used in a worrying sign of how the cost of living crisis is deepening.
