NATALIE Cassidy has shared pictures from her stunning family trip to Greece – where hotel stays can cost up to £1000 a night.
The family of four, completed by fiancé Marc Humphreys, 13-year-old Eliza and seven-year-old Joanie, headed to an Ikos Resort for some time away from the UK.
The trip didn’t come without a few bumps in the road though, with Natalie admitting on her podcast Life With Nat that they nearly cancelled the trip when Joanie broke her arm.
Speaking on the podcast, young Joanie admitted she was doing cartwheels with friends at school when she landed funny on her arm.
Natalie rushed her daughter to hospital, where Joanie needed plates put in her arm in order to get her back to health.
Despite the near-miss, the family were given the all-clear to go on their week-long jolly, with Natalie sharing a picture of the four of them against the idyllic looking coastline.
Other pics included her enjoying some bubbles on a catamaran with friends, blowdrying her hair, and a nasty looking heat-rash that came up on her food.
Next to the collection of snaps, the EastEnders icon wrote: “We made it on our holiday. Greece has been beautiful, a full week of only worrying about what we are eating, getting the good sunbeds and what ice creams we are eating next.
“[Ellia Cassidy] I think I’m converted. Apart from the old skin allergy always showing itself when abroad it’s been a corker. 🤣”
“The waterproof cover for Joanie’s arm has been a life saver, thank you for all your lovely messages,” she added.
“Always look forward to coming home and seeing family and getting into my own bed though. ♥️ thank you @ikosresorts for a great time. NOT AN AD. If bloody only!”
Recording her podcast before her trip away, Natalie was heard that life have been a “shambles” in the run-up to their trip, with Eliza complaining she struggled to find clothes for the holiday as shops are already ushering in autumn wear.
The trip away comes shortly after Natalie, who is best known for playing Sonia on EastEnders, was announced for a brand new gig role as a TV presenter.
She’s been snapped up for a Channel 4 series, What’s The Big Deal?, which will see Natalie explore new ‘must have’ products and if they’re actually worth the money.
This includes everything from ice baths to teeth whiteners, talking to scientists and industry insiders to see if they’re worth the hype.
She said of the new project: “I am looking forward to getting to ask the questions we all want to know about must-have products.
“Like all of us, I love to try the latest things but as a busy mum what I really want to know is what lives up to the claims and what is the best deal?”
The four-part series is yet to be given a release date.
