They will share reflections, behind-the-scenes stories and secrets and pay tribute to much-missed cast member Dame June Whitfield.

Jennifer joked of the show, which will air October 17 at 9pm on Gold: “I loved making Ab Fab, but I can’t remember much, so this retrospective is a revelation to me.”

Joanna agreed: “It was a fabulous wander down memory lane by actresses who only have the faintest grip on reality. Really thrilling, and I hope vastly entertaining.”

In June, The Sun reported that Absolutely Fabulous: Inside Out would take viewers on a trip down memory lane, looking into the behind-the-scenes secrets of how the show was made.

The hosts were set to meet with costume designers and famous fans while sharing unheard anecdotes, behind-the-scenes secrets and personal reflections.

Jennifer and Joanna also had a look at the original scripts, and never-before-seen footage, as well as their first ever episode.

The show was also set to pay tribute to the late star June Whitfield, who played Jennifer’s on-screen mother.

Dame June was hailed as a national treasure after her death last December aged 93.

For Jennifer and Joanna, it’s all a welcome reminder of the success of the show.

Joanna added: “It was a fabulous wander down memory lane by actresses who only have the faintest grip on reality.”
