FRANKIE DETTOR is being tipped to wallop an Aidan O’Brien banker on a ‘perfect’ 28-1 outsider he ‘really likes’.
The world’s most famous jockey has been reunited with old boss John Gosden for the big ride on 7-2 second-fav Emily Upjohn in the Turf.
But it is on the little-known May Day Ready in the Juvenile Fillies Turf on Friday night that he is also being fancied to taste victory.

O’Brien’s perfect 4-4 Lake Victoria heads the market for the mile contest at 11-10 – and she looks to have the ideal draw in stall one.
May Day Ready is drawn much winder in 12 but she is 3-3 under Dettori having made her debut as recently as August.
Trained by Joseph R Lee and owned KatieRich Stables LLC, this daughter of Tapit can be backed at a whopping 28-1 with some firms.
May Day Ready took her August maiden by a nose under Dettori but was more convincing in a Listed fillies race over a mile at Kentucky Downs on her second start.
She bagged a Group 2 at Keeneland earlier this month in the dying strides, again under Dettori, after being hampered with around a furlong to go.
You might think that sort of form is not enough to give her a chance against the Moyglare and Cheveley Park Stakes-winning might of Lake Victoria.
But Racing TV pundit Rachel Candalora has other ideas.
Speaking on a Breeders’ Cup preview show, she said: “There’s a certain Lanfranco Dettori riding this horse – he has ridden her in all three of her starts.
“Joseph Lee, the trainer, was an assistant with Kiaran McLaughlin when he was with Godolphin so that’s where they got together with Frankie.
“This filly has been perfect in three starts, in Saratoga, Kentucky, and the Group 2 Jessamine, which is one of the key exit races in the States.
“She lost a shoe going round Keeneland, she just got up – but she’s a very, very classy filly.
“Her dam could only finish third in this race and Frankie is really excited for this filly.”
Dettori seemed in great spirits ahead of the two-day ‘world championships’ of racing – and bang up for the ride on Emily Upjohn.
He said: “John hasn’t changed a bit – he is still bossing me around!
I haven’t ridden Emily for over a year, I think I was the last one to win on her.
“She had a nice look around on the turf, we will probably do a little bit more with her tomorrow and inject some speed into her work. I think she has a great chance.
“It’s great to be back on her again and taking orders from John – like the good old days!”
