AFL: GWS co-captain Stephen Coniglio to spend $2.9 million on Sydney estate

AFL champion Stephen Coniglio and his wife Rebecca Demlakian have spent $2.9 million on a deceased estate on Sydney’s north coast.

Located in Mosman, 2.5 miles from the CBD, the two-storey duplex was originally built in the 1940s, The Daily Telegraph reports.

Boasting a signature pink paint job, the 475 sqm Art Deco property features two large apartments and shares three bathrooms.

One apartment has a single room, while the larger apartment has two bedrooms.

Highlights include original Art Deco finishes, polished wood floors, and expansive living areas.

Each of the large kitchens has plenty of storage space and plenty of opportunity for a makeover.

The block was the home of the sculptor George Enyi and his wife Romola Costantino, who died in 1988.

Coniglio and Demlakian, who wed last October at St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney, have not announced what they plan to do with their new purchase.

After tying the knot, the couple hosted a lavish wedding breakfast at City Hall, with a guest list that included former Sunrise presenter Melissa Doyle.

Coniglio has made 117 appearances for the GWS Giants since making his AFL debut in 2012.
