Airbnb’s most loved homes on Instagram in 2022, from California to the UK
These vacation rentals have prompted Instagram users to tap the “Like” button en masse.
And it’s no wonder.
Ranging from dreamy seaside homes to chic mountain retreats, they were the 10 most loved homes on the planet. Airbnbs Instagram page in 2022, the rental platform has revealed.
The most popular Airbnb, a breathtaking getaway in the Dominican Republic, earned more than 20,000 likes, with social media users enamored with the epic mountain views the property opens to.
Two US Airbnbs made the top 10: a home on California’s rugged Big Sur coast and a picturesque cottage in New York’s Hudson Valley. Other great rental properties on the list include a charming English cottage, a “bargain” abode in the Spanish countryside, and a glass cabin hidden in a Brazilian forest.
Factoring in the cost of the rental, Airbnb says, “With inflation and a rising cost of living, affordability is a top priority for many as they dreamily scroll from post to post – so it’s no surprise that some of the more popular posts on Airbnb’s Instagram for 2022 contains a number of low-cost stays.’ Scroll down for the full list, presented here in reverse order…

8. YOUR HOME IN PARADISE (BENALAURIA, MALAGA, SPAIN): This ‘superb’ 100 year old Spanish property is said to retain the ‘essence of a traditional village house’. Airbnb adds: ‘At 55 Euros (£48) per night, this is the perfect home to “desire” for anyone looking for a bargain.’ Likes – 7,157
7. THE BOUTIQUE STUDIO (GHENT, BELGIUM): According to one guest, this “tastefully decorated” Ghent apartment is located above “the best cafe in town, where coffee is included and breakfast is excellent.” Likes – 7,682
