Akshay Oberoi is looking forward to working with Deepika Padukone again after Piku, in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter
Back in Mumbai after a vacation in the US, Akshay Oberoi is gearing up for 2023 as he has some really interesting projects lined up. The actor will be seen sharing the screen space with a talented troupe of actors such as Sara Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
Akshay will play the role of an air force officer in the movie Fighter, starring Hrithik and Deepika. Fighter is expected to be released at the end of January and will be India’s first aerial action movie.
Akshay Oberoi says: “It’s been an exciting year. Lots of new and interesting work, with some great actors lined up. And acting is one of those professions where you get inspiration from everywhere, even from your fellow actors. I have worked with Deepika before in Piku and it is nice to work again. Hrithik’s dedication to the job is quite contagious and Sara is a bundle of joy. 2023 will be a good year. I already feel it.”
Akshay Oberoi is also part of the movie Gaslight, which stars Sarah Ali Khan and Vikrant Massey. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone basks in the success glory of the spy action thriller Pathan along with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham.
