Avengers: Secret Wars is now split into two or more movies, the multiverse saga undergoing some major changes?
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally entered Phase 5 with Ant-Man And The Wasp Quantumania. The film, which received mixed reviews, was the first real step in the Multiverse Saga of the studio’s next two phases. While there are several projects in the pipeline, including some new ones and many sequels. But nothing beats the anticipation raised by the last two Phase 6 films. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
It’s been four years since we saw Avengers converge in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The final movie was the epic Avengers: Endgame, which concluded the infinity saga that brought together a gazillion superheroes from all three phases that happened up to that point. Now we are entering a new era of the Avengersand it feels like Marvel is changing the plan.
While we now wait for the next MCU movie, this is all a build up to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which will see the team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes unite to defeat Kang The Conqueror. According to The Direct, Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, who is also a very well-known insider with a lot of confirmed speculation to his credit, asked his fans to list the things they weren’t expecting. Marvel Studios to do “heading for the Secret Wars movies”. Few realized that he used “movies” to talk about the Avengers movie.
When fans quickly asked him why he did that, he replied with a GIF from The Office of Stanley Hudson proclaiming, “Do I have a stutter.” This was enough to speculate that now Avengers: Secret Wars will not be one movie, but several. There were already rumors that the intention is to split the film in two.
