When it comes to exercise, Brooke recommends focusing on quality over quantity. “When I work out, the emphasis is on quality rather than quantity, so I do three one-hour gym sessions a week. I do 45 minutes of weight training, like barbell squats, overhead presses, and back extensions, which I love, plus 10-15 minutes of track work with the sled and prowler, which is tough but great cardio,” she says Women’s health.

Brooke sticks to a healthy diet that fuels her workouts. “I support my training with a healthy diet. I used to live on McDonald’s, Nandos and takeaway pizzas, but since I started my 12 week Ultimate performance transformation, I’ve changed my attitude about food,” she tells Women’s Health. “Now I start the day with a two-egg omelette with brown sauce—because I don’t really like eggs; have smashed avocado on sourdough, or a chicken salad for lunch; and have salmon or steak with veggies for dinner. If I’m between when I’m hungry, I eat fruit or have a chocolate whey protein shake or a pomegranate bar.”

Brooke has a clever way of motivating herself to exercise and eat healthy. “When I need motivation, I think about how great working out and eating right make me feel – I no longer feel sluggish in the morning, but instead I’m cheerful all day and my skin is parched. I used to think that my legs used to be huge, but now they have definition and are strong. I’m proud to have them. I’ll be pumping up the tunes too — feel-good songs from Beyonce, Ellie Goulding and Stormzy keep me going during a workout,” she told Women’s Health.

Brooke suggests occasional meals. “It wouldn’t be three takeaways in 24 hours, it could only be two,” she says The sun about how she always ate “I can’t even lie and say I’m out of fast food because I had two McDonald’s last weekend.”

If you want to get in shape, go to extremes. To prepare for Dancing on Ice, Brooke enlisted the help of personal trainer Mark Bohannon, who created a three-month program for her, who claims she always pushed herself. “During her 12-week transformation, one of Brooke’s best qualities was that she always wanted to improve herself, even on the days when she wasn’t feeling 100 percent,” he says. Confidential. “Brooke wanted to work that little bit harder and lift that little bit more in each session. It helps to get the best possible transformation in the time frame where clients have this determined attitude to training.”
