Growing family! After Chrissy Teigen announced that she and John Legend expecting another child, she showed off her baby bump with a glamorous selfie reveal in the mirror.
In August 2022, the 36-year-old desires The author joked that it took “44 people” to get her ready for the photos, tagging members of her glamor crew, including three hairstylists, a makeup artist, and a stylist. Teigen’s pregnancy announcement came 22 months after she and 43-year-old musician lost son Jack.
“The past few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but the joy has filled our homes and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (lately in the leg, as you can see!) we have another one on the way,” Teigen wrote via Instagram. Legend reposted the snap to his profile, adding a series of red heart emojis. The couple, who married in 2013, are parents to daughter Luna, born in April 2016, and son Miles, born in May 2018.
After her pregnancy loss in September 2020, Teigen began IVF treatments. She also became sober, announcing in July 2022 that she had “not had a drop of alcohol in 365 days!”
“I sometimes miss feeling listless and carefree, but to be honest towards the end it didn’t give me that nice feeling anymore. I drank to put an end to the crazy anxiety that usually went away later when I – get this – stopped drinking! sigh,” she wrote via Instagram. “At least I feel really good. Sometimes I get really frustrated when I look back on days that I should remember much better than I do now because of alcohol. Like when I drank cafe patron and fell asleep while an Outback Steakhouse chef taught me (my friends) how to make a blooming onion at my home. I wish I was awake for that. I really wish I remembered every award ceremony lol.”
The model’s post featured photos of “huge moments in life,” including photoshoots at work and beach days with the family, where she felt her eyes seem “gone”.
“While I STILL don’t know if I’ll ever drink again, I do know I never want to be that way again,” she concluded. “And for now, none are the best. I let the bad dreams come up and try to solve them in therapy, without alcohol.”
