Camo Kate! The Princess of Wales donned military uniforms as she underwent a series of combat exercises with the British Army.
Princess Kate40, on Wednesday, March 8, spent time with the Irish Guards — a British Army regiment affectionately known as “The Micks,” according to the army’s website — learning alongside the soldiers in the snowy trenches.
The Duchess of Cambridge dressed for the occasion in a camo jacket with army green trousers and black army boots. She covered her hair, which she wore in a low braid, with a forest green cap. Kate not only aesthetically matched the soldiers, but also experienced hands-on training, including treating wounds in battle.
“A snowy morning with the @irishguards on Salisbury Plain!” the official Instagram account of the Prince and Princess of Wales shared on Wednesday alongside a series of photos from the Duchess’s field trip. “The work of the Irish Guards is as comprehensive as it is exemplary, from training park rangers to counter poaching in East Africa to demining mines for the Ukrainian armed forces.”
The post concluded: “Fantastic to be with ‘The Micks’ today and see their hard work (regardless of the weather!)”
Kate’s military training came on the same day as the announcement that her cousin Lilibet… Prince Harry And Megan Markle‘s 21-month-old daughter – was bestowed with her royal title of princess.

Relations between the Archewell co-founders and the royals have only grown tense in the years since, in part because of Harry and Meghan’s multiple tell-all interviews and bombshell allegations against The Firm.
Amid the drama, especially after the release of Harry’s memoir, Reserve – said a spokesperson for the Archewell foundation Us that Harry and Meghan were invited to Charles’ coronation in May.
“I can confirm that the Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s Office regarding the coronation,” the representative said in a statement. “An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be announced by us at this time.”
