Dorinda Medley in bathing suit says: “I miss being on vacation”

Dorinda Medley reminisces about sunnier days in her bathing suit. Dorinda has opened up about her weight gain during the pandemic. “We were all in the middle of COVID and quarantine. And of course we were all eating. I realized I had gone way too far and thought, ‘Oh my God. What am I going to do about this?'” she said. . “I gained almost 20 pounds that first year, so I turned to Nutrisystem.”

Dorinda was attracted to the way of eating and saw it more as a lifestyle than a diet. “I wanted a program that I didn’t have to think about much, that offered variety and the nutrition I needed. Nutrisystem was great because it offered different flavors and so many options,” she said. “I’m happy to say I’ve lost 17 pounds on the Nutrisystem program and I feel incredible inside and out.” She also eats “delicious,” adding that she eats everything from turkey bacon breakfast sandwiches to pizza bowls.

She also likes that the flexible plan allows her to indulge every once in a while. “We have to treat ourselves. But the next day I go back to Nutrisystem,” she said. “So I can have a flexible meal plan. I can sneak in a little pasta now and then. But the next morning I’m back on my Nutrisystem.”

Dorinda also prioritizes self-care. “One of the positive things about quarantine was that we were able to stop for a while and re-evaluate what’s important to us,” she said. “Women tend to put their needs aside and take care of those around them. I hope I can be an inspiration, even for just one woman out there, to be a little selfish.”

Dorinda was an aerobics instructor in the 1980s and put her leg warmers back on in recent years, she explained The daily mail. “The 80s were so much fun!” Dorinda remembered. “When I was an aerobics teacher, my classes were famous, my mixtapes were famous. You walked in that class; you had the outfit on, you had the sweatbands, you had the leg warmers,” she added. “It wasn’t just about the workout. You came out of an ’80s aerobics class feeling pumped; you felt happy.”
