Fans went crazy with Channel Ten’s new ‘scary’ psychological adventure series The Traitors

Channel 10’s latest series The Traitors will see some of Australia’s most cunning contestants work as a team to walk away with a potential prize pool worth up to $250,000.

But during Sunday night’s premiere, viewers found “the traitors” dressed in hooded robes and masks distasteful for dinnertime watching.

‘What is this cult sh*t? I’m scared,” one person tweeted.

“This is actually creepy,” another person agreed, before a third asked, “Why is this so scary?”

There were also viewers who seemed stunned by what was unfolding before their eyes.
