Fears are growing that the accuser of Prince Andrew’s sexual abuse could overshadow the King’s coronation
Fears are growing that King Charles’s coronation could be overshadowed by the accuser of Prince Andrew’s sexual abuse after reports that Virginia Giuffre’s memoir could be released weeks before the historic ceremony.
Multiple reports claim that Ms Giuffre, who has accused the Duke of York of sexually assaulting her when she was a minor under US law, has signed a book deal worth millions.
She and Andrew, who have consistently denied the allegations, allegedly agreed to a gag clause that expires in March, a year after settling her civil rape claim against him.
Publishing house insiders have said Ms Giuffre’s memoir could be released a few weeks before Charles’s coronation, telling The Mirror: ‘There will be no greater occasion for her book than the coronation of the king.’
It comes as The Daily Mail reveals Andrew told friends his reputation could soon be restored.
King Charles’s coronation may be overshadowed by the publication of memoirs about Virginia Giuffre’s alleged encounters with Prince Andrew. The Duke of York and Mrs. Giuffre are pictured together in an undated handout photo released by the US Department of Justice
Plans have been put in place to “maximize” the book’s release with an insider claiming, “There will be no greater occasion for her book than the coronation of the king.” Virginia Giuffre and attorney David Boies are photographed at the Federal Court in New York in August 2019
“All eyes will be on the royal family in the weeks leading up to Charles’ coronation,” the insider claimed, pointing out that “book release is all about timing.”
Ms Giuffre’s publisher wants to capitalize on the fact that a global audience will be talking about the May 6 coronation and what royal festivities Andrew will be invited to participate in.
The insider added that Ms Giuffre’s memoirs, which are said to have been 12 years in the making, may not be able to directly reiterate her claims about the Prince, but they do include Andrew, the royal and greatest day of his life even more embarrassing. your own brother’s life.’
Ms. Giuffre’s book deal is said to be worth “millions,” multiple sources told the New York Post.
It also comes amid reports that Andrew has amassed a war chest worth a staggering £10 million in preparation for a legal challenge to his settlement with Ms Giuffre. The settlement is said to be a significant sum of money, with some estimates at around £12 million.
Prince Andrew, pictured driving his Range Rover around the grounds of Windsor Castle, reportedly recently told friends that a ‘mysterious development’ will restore his disgraced reputation in the coming months
The Duke of York consults with lawyers in an attempt to get hold of Virginia Giuffre, formally known as Virginia Roberts. to retract her allegations against him
Meanwhile, it’s revealed that Andrew has assured his friends that a development is afoot that will restore his tainted reputation.
The Duke of York is regularly voted the least popular member of the royal family and was stripped of his public duties following the revelations of his relationship with the pedophile Epstein, but his confidence remains undiminished.
If not all the way back to the heroic stature he enjoyed as a helicopter pilot in the Falklands War, then at least to what it was before he was photographed in New York’s Central Park talking to Epstein shortly after the latter’s release from prison in 2009 na is serving a puzzlingly short sentence for sex offences.
It is during shooting that the Duke of York tends to speak freely. “He says details are about to be made public that will change people’s perception of him,” Richard Eden was told. “He says it will happen next month.”
Although Andrew, 62, will not elaborate further, the Mail on Sunday reported over the weekend that he will be launching a dramatic bid to overturn the multimillion-pound settlement he reached with the woman who accused him of sexual assault.
It is clear that Andrew consulted lawyers in an attempt to get hold of Virginia Giuffre, formally known as Virginia Roberts. to retract her allegations and possibly get an apology.
He was inspired to act after Ms Giuffre dropped her lawsuit against another man she accused of sexual assault, admitting that she “might have made a mistake” in identifying him.
But Madame Giuffre has always maintained that her case against the duke was well founded.
Andrew’s relationship with Epstein was brought up again in a bombshell interview with Ghislaine Maxwell on TalkTV.
Maxwell said from prison that Prince Andrew was a “dear friend” and that the allegations against him were baseless.
In her first TV interview since being imprisoned for child trafficking, the British socialite also claimed the infamous photo of her, Andrew and Ms Giuffre was a ‘fake’.
Andrew is expected to claim that he never met Ms. Giuffre and to claim that the photo is a fake in any future legal action.
However, several high-profile forensic experts who have examined the photo, which shows Andrew putting his arm around a young Mrs. Giuffre, have said they believe it to be genuine.
Ms. Giuffre claims she was groomed by pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Maxwell, and forced to have sex with him on several occasions.
Prince Andrew denied ever meeting Mrs Giuffre in a disastrous Newsnight interview in 2019. He famously claimed to have been in a Pizza Express in Woking at the time of one of the incidents cited by his accuser.

The late Queen Elizabeth’s son has suffered a series of humiliations since his car crash Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis in November 2019 as institutions cut ties with him.
The most crushing blow, Mr Eden was told, was the abrupt curtailment of his role as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, reported by the Daily Mail just before Christmas.
He had already retired from his service with the Grenadiers, but had done so in the belief that in time he would return to them.
‘He says so Her Majesty [Queen Elizabeth] gave him her word that resignation was only a temporary measure. He says he was not told in advance that he was about to be started, and of course not that Camilla would replace him. He says he just heard about it “in the media”.
Maybe it’s time for Andrew to deliver a media surprise himself?
