One way Gemma keeps fit and happy is by riding horses. The reality star even calls herself a ‘horse dancer’. Why should you consider driving? Another outdoor hobby that Gemma enjoys in the winter is skiing. She can be found regularly on the slopes. According to TripSavvy, an average-sized adult weighing 150 pounds can burn significant calories while skiing. Regular skiing with a “light effort” can burn 250 – 300 calories per hour, while a “moderate effort” burns 340 – 400 calories per hour, and “vigorous exercise or racing” 475 – 600 calories per hour.

Gemma follows a healthy diet, but occasionally allows herself to cheat. She especially likes going to brunch with her friends. One of her most recent breakfasts appears to be a creamy, spicy Eggs Benedict dish and an iced drink on the side. “Happy Saturday? Comment below if you’re having brunch today,” she wrote. She has also shared photos of herself eating sweets and drinking frappuccinos.

Gemma is all about the occasional glass of wine. “Absorbing,” she captioned this photo of herself enjoying some vino. While white wine doesn’t offer the same health benefits as red wine, drinking a glass is a great way to incorporate antioxidants into your diet.

Gemma recently returned to the gym and even created a tab on her Instagram account. “Back to it. The New Year’s silence is killing me,” she captioned one of her Instagram Stories. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week, adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to current Exercise Guidelines for Americans
