Jonathan Majors’ ‘Be All You Can Be’ ad campaign halted after arrest

The US Army has drawn a major Be all you can be ad campaign featuring Jonathan Majors after the actor’s arrest on Saturday.

“The U.S. military is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors and we are deeply concerned about the allegations surrounding his arrest,” Laura DeFrancisco, chief of public affairs for the Army Enterprise Marketing Office, said in a statement Sunday. “While Mr. Majors is innocent until proven guilty, caution dictates that we remove our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete.”

The military had already released two advertisements with the Creed III actor before being arrested Saturday in New York City in connection with a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman, local authorities said.

The NYPD responded to a 911 call at around 11 a.m. at a Manhattan apartment before Majors was arrested without incident on charges of strangulation, assault and harassment. He had not been in police custody since Saturday night. A spokesman for the NYPD said the woman sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was taken to the hospital.
