Lights out with their little ones! Kourtney Kardashian and more celebrity moms rave about co-sleeping with their kids.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians alum noted in a January 2018 blog post that she and her three kids — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — felt like they “all got more sleep” after being knocked out together one night.
“I didn’t have to get out of bed to get the kids back to sleep when they woke up in the night,” says the creator of Poosh, who shares her brood with ex Scott Disick, wrote at the time. “It was easier when one of the kids woke up since I was there. … It’s what worked for all of us to get the most sleep, so I quickly embraced it.
The Los Angeles resident further wrote that the practice helped with the mother’s guilt. “Also, as a working mom, if I didn’t have a lot of time with the kids during the day, at least I knew we’d have the evening together as a family,” said the former E! personality explained. “Every child is different, so if it works for you and your family, that’s what matters!”
Leah Messeron her part, told She knows in April 2020 that her daughters, Adalynn and twins Aleeah and Aliannah, were “still” sleeping in her bed.
“I’ve tried a little bit [to transition to their own beds],” the Teenage mother 2 star said at the time. “Addie will, but not if her sisters don’t. So they all sleep in my bed. It’s so crazy, Addie [is] on top of me and the twins [are] on each side of me until I [can’t] don’t breathe anymore. Recently, Addie tried to sleep in her bed, but it was too hard. Addie will say to her sisters, “You’re old enough to sleep in your own bed now!” And they just aren’t doing that yet.”
The MTV personality will “miss them if they don’t sleep with her” if they go to their own room one day, she told the outlet. “If I had a husband it would be different, but I don’t, so we all sleep together. … They usually sleep by 9 o’clock.
