Actor Kevin Costner rents out his 160-acre Aspen estate in Colorado for a whopping $36,000 a night.
The property, known as the Dunbar Ranch, named in honor of its Dances With Wolves character, Lieutenant John Dunbar, has been described as “the ultimate luxury retreat” and is located just minutes from downtown Aspen.
The mansion features 12 bedrooms, eight bathrooms with views of Independence Pass and Aspen Mountain. If there are any problems, there are also 24-hour concierges on site.

Outside, the venue features a baseball field, sledding hill and the ability to comfortably sleep up to 27 people across three buildings comprising a main house, a lake house and a river house.
For the winter months, the ranch features its own skating rink, tubing track, and dog sled, while horseback riding, hiking, fishing, and other activities are available during the warmer months.
The estate also contains a lake on which kayaks and paddle boards can be used.
While the $36,000 nightly price tag may sound like a lot, when split among a full house of guests, it would be comparable to booking multiple rooms at a local five-star hotel in Aspen.

Costner, 68, bought the land in 2000 before turning it into a picturesque paradise.
He currently plays ranch owner, John Dutton, in the critically acclaimed anti-woke western series Yellowstone. It saw Costner bag a Golden Globe Award earlier this month.
The win marked the first ever Golden Globe nomination for the show – which has been described as “anti-woke” – after multiple disapproval. The popular series, which first aired in 2018, has aired 47 episodes in five seasons.
In that time, it has also received one Emmy nomination (in 2021, for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program); and garnered its first two Critics Choice Awards nominations this year (for Best Drama Series; and for Kelly Reilly for Best Actress in a Drama Series).
While he still uses Dunbar Ranch frequently, the filming schedule for Yellowstone means he spends much of his time on other people’s ranches in Montana, though he usually rents out his home in Aspen during the winter months.
The property was put up for rent last week and is being offered by Amy Mottier with Coldwell Banker Mason Morse.
