Lisa Rinna’s career spans decades. She first made waves as a soap star, known for her work on Melrose place and Days of our lives. Rinna was also a long-running cast member on the hit reality series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Rinna shared her health and wellness secrets Mary Claire. She says consistency and maintenance are the most important things to her. “It’s really about maintenance. My whole, whole existence is based on maintenance. I’m telling you, it’s the key to everything.”


In her Marie Claire interview, Rinna shared some of her skincare tips. She says it is extremely important to protect her skin from the sun. “I put on sunscreen before I walk downstairs. As soon as you hit sunlight, you get it [sun exposure] and i have major melasma problems on my skin. Renée Rouleau, a great skincare specialist, told me about 12 years ago, ‘You have to apply sunscreen as soon as you wake up in the morning. I’ve been doing that ever since – that’s a really cool little trick for everyone.


Rinna revealed some of her favorite skincare products to Marie Claire. She says she likes to use medical products more than cosmetic ones. “I love a doctor,” she says. “So, I love Dr. Barbara Sturm, I love Dr. Lancer, I love Dr. Sabagh. Sturm is my favorite, but I cheat on everyone. I use everything from Dr. Sturm – she changed my skin.”


Rinna leads an active life. She tells Marie Claire that she likes to do a lot of exercises to keep fit. Rinna says her favorites are, “Yoga, Pilates, walking, and spinning. I work out four or five days a week. I’ve done that all my life. I started jazzercise when I was 16 and have never stopped.”


Rinna makes sure she eats healthy. However, she also does not like to rob herself. Rina tells People that she believes in moderation when it comes to food. “I don’t like using the word diet because when I do, I just want to eat 10 times more,” Rinna explains. “Moderation is key.” Rinna says she takes this approach when it comes to meat. “I usually call myself a dirty vegan. I’m mostly plant-based — but if I have to eat some meat, I’ll have it.”
