Madhurame: Armaan Malik reveals his experience singing the romantic song for Sukumar Pammi & Shreemani, “Very Rarely does a composition hold you…”
Popular singer Armaan Malik talked about his latest romantic song, ‘Madhurame’, which is composed and arranged by Sukumar Pammi and has lyrics by Shreemani. He also spoke about the challenges of singing a song in Telugu and shared his experience with Sukumar and Shreemani.
He said: “It was a real pleasure to sing ‘Madhurame’ for Sukumar Pammi and Shreemani. Very rarely a composition grabs you on the first listen and ‘Madhurame’ was that song for me. I’m glad I was able to use a combination of my natural softer tone for most of this song and the open-throated vibe for the higher notes.”
Armaan Malik had sung some melodious songs and given several hits such as ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ for the 2015 film ‘Hero’, ‘Kwahishein’ for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Calendar Girls’, and recently he recorded an English single ‘You’ on in association with Arista Records. He also sang for some last releases like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2‘, ‘Major’ and much more.
Armaan Malik who made his debut with the song ‘Bum Bum Bole’ in ‘Taare Zameen Par’ shared how challenging it was to sing a song in a regional language.
Singer Armaan Malik further added, “It’s always a challenge to sing songs in the South, not surprising because of the diction, but because of the intricate melodies they make there.”
“It’s like I’m going to be a student again. Every time I take a closer look at these compositions, I educate myself and humble myself,” he added.
