In 2019, Foley suffered a concussion. She opened up about her recovery the website of the Concussion Foundation. “The back of my head is still extremely sensitive to touch. This year (like the last few years) has been very difficult, uncomfortable, painful, stressful and emotional, but I tried to smile through it (mostly) and I’m very proud of myself for that.”

Swimming isn’t the only thing Foley likes to do on the beach. She also likes kayaking. During a trip to San Diego, Foley posted this highlight video on Instagram. In it, she is seen kayaking on the beach. She captioned it, “I knew it looked great in the pictures online, but seeing it in person was a whole other level.”
Foley enjoys practicing yoga as a way to stay in shape. On a trip to Dallas, she made sure to do a yoga session. She shared these photos from the day on Instagram. Foley captioned the post, “Getting my inner Yogi working on the @thompsonhoteldallas outdoor fitness court. I could stay here all day. The gym and fitness lawn are so beautiful here at the Thompson that it actually makes me want to work out.”
