Being a gymnast is Dunne’s main way of keeping herself in shape. Gymnastics has many benefits. Gymnasticsvictoria.org reports that the sport benefits flexibility. “In gymnastics training, a lot of time is spent on improving flexibility. For competitive gymnasts, this means improving jumps and jumps. For recreational and adult gymnasts, it’s about improving the flexibility of muscle groups to prevent injury. The more flexible a person’s muscles are, the less likely they are to strain or tear a muscle when performing everyday tasks.”
Dunne quickly grew her following. And she wants to use her platform for good. In 2021, she said The New York Post that she wants to inspire girls like her. “I want to be a role model for young girls and I really love being a woman in this,” said Dunne. “I feel like most people expected [male] football and basketball players to get the biggest endorsement deals.”

In addition to inspiring young women, Dunne wants to encourage others to follow their dreams. Specifically, she wants to help people find out how they can grow their business based on their passions. “I want to show you can do what you love,” she said People “Whether it’s gymnastics, music or painting – and take advantage of it and create your own business… There was no roadmap for how to go to school, your athletics and social media at the same time. There’s really no one who ever has done.” And I thought I could change that. I could pave the way and set a good example for young girls who look up to me.”
Dunne has drawn a large following. Unfortunately, having fans can be unsafe. Dunne once walked up to a bunch of young men waiting outside her meeting. She tells Today that she is working to keep herself safe and asking for more protection. “As a woman you are not responsible for how a man looks at you and objectifies you. That is not a woman’s responsibility.” Dunne says her university has added some protective measures. “They gave us some new rules for us athletes to keep us safe, not to enter the stands after games, and we have a new security guard traveling with us.”
Being a gymnast takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice. Fortunately, Dunne is determined to make her dreams come true. She opened up about how she got to where she is today Today show. “I sort of sacrificed my summers,” Dunne admits. “Those pool days, those beach days with your friends. I was working out at the gym.”
