Baby joy! Paris Hilton shocked fans on Tuesday when she revealed she was secretly welcoming a child with husband Carter Reum; the pair seen in November 2022
“It’s always been my dream to be a mom and I’m so glad that Carter and I found each other,” Hilton said in a statement to PEOPLE.
“We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
She did not provide further details about the birth.
Although this is Hilton’s first child, 40-year-old Reum already shares a 10-year-old daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi, whom he has reportedly seen “only once.”
Last month, the Simple Life star shared that she and her husband started their in vitro fertilization (IVF journey in 2020) before he ever proposed.
She told PEOPLE that they had “all the eggs stocked and ready.”
The couple married in November 2021 at Hilton’s grandfather Barron Hilton’s Bel-Air estate.
In early 2022, Paris told E! News that she hoped to have “two or three” children with the millionaire entrepreneur. “And I’d like twins first—or I don’t know, that’s hard to say.”
Paris, the eldest of four siblings, said, “Like I always wished I had an older brother, because I feel like if I did, they’d protect me and things like that…at school.” So maybe a boy first.’
