There was a huge increase in attendance for Pathaan as it was a partial holiday of Holi in some parts of the country. While this also meant that theaters were not operational until late afternoon, the holiday factor meant that attendances were better than usual from then on. It all came out more than balanced in the end 0.77 crore who collected the film on Monday, the numbers jumped sharply 1.20 crores* again on Tuesday.
The situation can also be quite similar today as there is now a partial holiday of Holi in other parts of the country. Usually Holi falls on the same day all over the country every year, but 2023 was an exception and so the collections are a bit separated. In a sense, this is better for the movie as evening and night shows are better than usual. There would be competition Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaarand therefore it has to be seen how much it affects the movie.
Entire collections of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer stands up now 536.68 rupees* and the Hindi version is up 518.25 crores*. Between today and tomorrow, around 2 million more would come in and that should help cross the movie 520 crores before it gears up to enter its seventh weekend.
