Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills Taps Sally Forster Jones and Tomer Fridman to Lead Sales (Exclusive)
As branded properties take off in Los Angeles — like the Pendry Residences on the Sunset Strip and the new Mandarin Oriental Residences on Wilshire Boulevard — the under-development Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills is making strides to open next year.
Nahla Capital and GPI Companies, the developers of the Rosewood Residences, announced that top LA real estate agents, Sally Forster Jones and Tomer Fridman of Compass, have been brought in to exclusively lead the sale of the luxury development, which opened last June. broke ground and is expected to open in late 2024.
Located on South Santa Monica Boulevard and across Charleville Boulevard from the Peninsula Hotel, the project includes four floors of 17 residences, each of which has a unique design. They range in size from about 3,000 square feet to about 7,500 square feet at the penthouse level. The starting price of the homes, according to the agents, will be about $10 million; Fridman says the price of the largest unit is not yet set.
Units will offer private elevator access, entry foyers, chef’s kitchens with dual islands and service elevators leading to laundry/utility room and large terraces. “Each of them has a special, beautiful outdoor space,” says Forster Jones. “To be here in Beverly Hills. the indoor-outdoor experience is an important part of the design.”
Both Fridman and Forster Jones emphasize that the units are far from your average luxury apartment. “These are real estate-style homes. They are truly an alternative to a home in terms of scale, boutique feel and the width of the balconies. It’s not just pied-à-terres,” he says, adding that six of the units have their own private pool.
“It’s just a great location. It has a residential feel, but it’s right up there in terms of walking distance to all commercial establishments in Beverly Hills,” says Forster Jones, who has over $10 billion in career sales).
“That little slice of Little Santa Monica is really quaint and intimate. It feels like its own enclave of boutiques and restaurants and cafes and beautiful buildings from the 20s 30s and 40s,” added Fridman, who closed $830 million in deals by 2022 and whose clients include Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson and Sylvester Stallone goods.

Additional amenities included with the project include a 40-foot pool and hot tub, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, indoor and outdoor bar, rooftop lounge with dining areas, fitness room, valet, concierge, doorman, security, and housekeeping services. “There will be a dedicated Rosewood director of residences; if you need to replace a light bulb, they’re there to do it, adds Fridman. The sale of the homes will start this summer.
The property was designed by architect Thomas Juul-Hansen, who is also behind New York’s upcoming 850-foot Sutton Tower and has created residential designs for clients including chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
“We go up about one floor a month. Within three months we will be at street level,’ says Fridman of construction. Forster Jones adds, “We definitely have the biggest crane in Beverly Hills, I think.” The development costs of the whole project are according to the LA times.

The closest Rosewood hotel to Los Angeles is Rosewood Miramar Beach, owned by Rick Caruso, in Montecito, California. Rosewood has yet to announce its plans for F&B at the Beverly Hills residences, but is expected to launch a restaurant from a well-known chef. Having a star chef involved in a private label project has become a major selling point in this evolving real estate space. At the Pendry West Hollywood, Wolfgang Puck, whose restaurant Mirois is located on the rooftop of the hotel, provides catering and room service for the residences, while the owners of the Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills can order Chef Daniel Boulud’s menu when he’s opening Café Boulud, his first restaurant in LA, on the ground floor there later this year.
The Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills is located on the site of the former Friars Club of Beverly Hills, which was founded in 1947 by Milton Berle; the modernist building was demolished in 2011. The residences are California’s first standalone condo development by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
Last year, Nahla Capital’s Genghis Hadi told the LA Times that he foresees buyers could be: “Homeowners in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles who are moving out of big homes and need many of the amenities a big house offers them, but the security and safety of a residential building.”
