President Joe Biden will deliver his maiden speech to a divided Congress on Tuesday night, where he is expected to advocate for the introduction of a billionaire tax and take a strong stance against China.
It is his third speech to a joint session of Congress as president.
The much-anticipated speech comes just days after the US military shot down a suspected “spy balloon” sent by Beijing that hovered over several states last week before being cut down off the coast of South Carolina on Saturday.
