Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard aka Mike responds to friends wanting him and Noah Schnapp to have a future on the show: “Always Found It Kind Of Funny”

One of the biggest series on Netflix since its launch half a decade ago was Stranger Things. The show starring Millie Bobby Brown is entering its fifth and final season and has been making headlines for several reasons. It was recently that Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on the show, came out as gay and his on-screen persona is one too. Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler on the show, responds to the same celebration of his co-star coming out.

For the inexperienced, Mike and Will are childhood best friends on the show who are now adults and the latter is going through the dilemma of his sexuality as hinted at on the show. Although Mike is in a relationship with Eleven, the show’s fans wanted to see a dynamic between him and Will.

According to CinemaBlend, Finn Wolfhard was talking about Noah Schnapp who recently came out on a TikTok video. The Stranger Things Star said: “I am incredibly proud of Noah for coming out so publicly. I think it was so incredible and brave.”

He also addressed the fan expectation with them together Stranger things. “As for the relationship between Mike and Will, I always thought it was kind of funny, especially last season where Mike was so clueless. I imagine Mike will fully accept Will, and I really want Will to have a very happy ending. And I think he will. What’s going to be so great about season five is that the Duffers kind of try to thread this needle by trying to give every character a perfect ending. So I’m excited to see what eventually happens,” Finn said.
