Their son! Tarek El Moussa And Heather Rae El Moussa (née Young) have documented their best moments with son Tristan after his arrival in January 2023.
Before welcoming their first child together, the couple often talked about their plans to expand their family. The real estate investor in turn shares Taylor and son Brayden with ex-wife Christina Hall (née Haack).
“Tarek treated me like a wife from the start and he was so supportive that I was an instant stepmom to the kids, but there’s something extra special about officially being the El Moussa family,” Heather wrote via Instagram shortly after exchanging vows with Tarek in October 2021. “These children really are everything to us, so we decided to say our vows first to the children and then to each other. This is only a small part of what I said to the kids, but I really meant every word: When your father and I decided to be fully committed, I committed 100 percent to you, too. I am beyond honored to be your bonus mom. Thank you for allowing me to love your father with all my heart. I love you both more than you’ll ever know.”
In July 2022, Heather and Tarek announced her first pregnancy. Before their little one arrived, the couple gushed about how excited they were to meet their baby.
“Oh my God, the kids are so excited! I mean, Brayden tracks the baby’s growth every week with Heather. He talks to the baby and rubs her belly. Taylor too. Both kids are so excited,” the HGTV personality shared exclusively Us weekly in December 2022.
At the time, the former Playboy model hinted that fans might see certain milestones from her pregnancy. “We filmed [the baby shower] for sell sunset. It was a girl’s shower,” Heather teased Us. “[Tarek] however did come and crash it at the end which was exciting. There might have been a little fight, not between me. I was hanging out with my mom and my sister, but I did see a bit of arguing happening at the next table. You’ll notice.”
Heather gave birth to Tristan in January 2023. Weeks later, the duo offered a glimpse of their first days at home with their baby boy. “Have my own [child] and carry it and then go through childbirth… it’s just so beautiful what the female body can do,” she shared exclusively with Us in February 2023. “All the firsts…it’s kind of unnerving.”
